I got into tattooing because I genuinely love the craft
I'm Jason Docia, but everyone calls me Jase. I started my apprenticeship in Melbourne back in 2020, working under Danny and Tommy at Black Blossom Tattoo. That's where I built my foundations. Learning the discipline, the technique, and the respect this art form deserves.
Since then I've worked my way up the east coast. Melbourne, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Airlie Beach. Picking up experience and perspective at every stop. Now I'm based on the Sunshine Coast as a tattoo artist running Afterglow out of two private spaces in Valdora.
My main focus is fine line, ornamental, geometric and neo-traditional work, and I also take on Japanese-inspired pieces. But what I value most is the connection with clients. I love the collaborative process. Sitting down, talking through ideas, and building something together. Especially with bigger, ongoing pieces where trust grows over time and the work evolves naturally.

Afterglow isn't a walk-in tattoo shop. It's a private tattoo studio in Valdora on the Sunshine Coast. Quiet, comfortable, and set up so you can actually relax while we work.
Having two separate spaces means I can keep things flexible for both smaller sessions and bigger all-day projects. No waiting rooms, no distractions. Just you, me, and the work.
Everything here runs on appointments. It keeps the quality up and makes sure every client gets the time and attention they deserve.
